We believe that God made man, the Earth and everything in it, so the depth of understanding whatever we teach hinges on a complete understanding of God and His Word. Without this understanding, all other knowledge is lacking. We believe even our youngest learners are ready to open their Bibles and learn His truth.
Math is a critical skill that will follow a student throughout their educational career and life. We understand the importance of having an early understanding of these skills, so that more complex concepts can build on a strong foundation. We love manipulatives and employ as many tools as possible to reach all types of learners. We know math may be a subject that causes anxiety for the homeschool teacher, and because of this we have intentionally chosen curriculum with maximum support built in. You'll also have the support of your on-campus teacher to help guide you.
Those who love to read become lifelong learners. Loving reading is born out of a strong ability to decode letters and sounds and comprehend the words set before you. Writing is a powerful skill that is a wonderful asset for life. Our students are given all the tools to thrive in language arts.
To know history is to have the power to build the future. We are passionate about taking a notoriously “boring” subject and bringing it to life, so our students can take with them the truths of times gone by that continue to shape their current reality. We take every opportunity to make our history times immersive, hands-on, and memorable for our students. History is one of our “family-style” subjects that allows you to teach all of your children at once, regardless of age, while they are still doing coursework specific to their grade.
Since we believe God made this world and everything in it, we must look to Him to understand it. While we present multiple theories in science, we always present God’s truth as absolute truth. Reclaiming this subject for the Kingdom of God brings a smile to all our faces. We love fun projects and messy experiments that allow our students to get their hands on what they are learning. Science is also taught in a “family-style” format, both for ease for the parent teacher and to promote togetherness.
Our God is the original Creator, and since we are made in His image, we also carry creativity in us. We love to provide opportunities for creativity, and encourage our students to try a variety of art styles and mediums. Art can be a form of worship and our learners absolutely love it!
From world religions to financial literacy, service leadership and healthy communication, we are instilling lost skills into our middle & high school students. All of the things you wish you learned in school are taught to our kids to prepare them to be healthy adults, ready for success.
Our entire curriculum selection is available upon request. Simply send us an email, and we will be happy to send it over!
