OUR PROGRAM

Our program is a hybrid homeschool model, with two days a week on campus and two days a week at home. Our on-campus days are Tuesdays and Thursdays and we meet from 8:30am to 2:30pm for Pre-K and Kinder and 2:45pm for 1st Grade and above. The days on campus have the feel of the sweetest little private Christian school you've ever seen. Our students come in uniform with their backpacks and join their grade level peers in their classroom, led by a loving teacher. They get to connect with friends, form important relationships, make memories, learn from another adult who loves Jesus, play on a traditional playground, and have class parties - all the things we love about "school". They also get two days of instruction at home, led by the best teacher they could ever have - YOU. If you're new to homeschool - don't worry! We provide you with detailed lesson plans, much like a recipe to follow, for a successful day of learning. The most beautiful thing about homeschool, however, is the freedom to define your day as a family. Will you start first thing in the morning and then head out on an adventure? Or will you sleep in, make brunch, and start with Bible time on the couch? The choice is yours.

Because our program is so popular, many of our classes are on a waitlist. We know that many of these families are committed to the homeschool lifestyle and would like to "actively wait" while they pray for a spot on campus to become available. In doing our best to serve these families well, we have created our "Capital Anywhere" program that offers parents the opportunity to purchase lesson plans at a drastically reduced rate and follow along exactly with what our on campus classes are doing, so that when a spot does become available, their student can transition without missing a beat. "Capital Anywhere" students are also welcome to join in on our chapel days and field trips, and parents are welcome at our private monthly workshops for Capital families. Our team will go over all of your options with you, including "Capital Anywhere", if space is unavailable at the time you apply. 

"Capital Anywhere" is also a wonderful support for families choosing to homeschool, even if they are not interested in pursuing an on-campus spot! We are privileged to serve families from out-of-state, families who choose to travel often, and families who simply love enjoying the structure of our lesson plans from the comfort of home. If you are looking for an entire year of academics planned for you, you will love "Capital Anywhere". 

Our calling in this community is to serve and support Christian families on their journey to train up their children in the way they should go. In keeping with that vision we require that our families regularly attend a local Christian church and have come to a saving relationship with Jesus. Our application process includes thorough questions to learn more about each family to ensure our community prioritizes Biblical values.
